Hi, I’m Melissa and I’ve been running comics and cartooning camps and workshops for over 15 years!
I created this box based on a week long Comics Camp that I did last summer. It starts with creating characters, and ends in the camper being a self-published cartoonist!
In the box you will get 5 packages, one for each day. ( But also, since it’s your box, you can go at whatever pace you like! )
You can choose a box for one, two, or three campers. But get in touch with me if you need a bigger one!
This box is appropriate for all ages! There is some reading/writing involved, so younger kids might need some help with that.
All materials needed for activities are included!
Plus worksheets, activities, and tutorials for every day of the week! Each day contains at least two activities that will build confidence and skills towards becoming a cartoonist, such as inking practice, drawing prompts, and more!
The idea is to give campers the tools and confidence to be able to create their own comic book by the end of the 5 days.
Campers will also receive a link to an hour long live drawing Q and A session with me! Date TBD. If you are unable to join, you can submit questions via email and you will get a link to the recorded session!
